well-being of the communities we serve.

Residents Encouraged to Beat the Heat

The following Newport News facilities remain open as cooling stations:


The  Pearl Bailey,  Main Street, and  Grissom Libraries are open:

Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

Brittingham-Midtown and  Denbigh Community Centers are open:

Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

 

Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

 

Four Oaks Day Service Center

The Four Oaks Day Service Center is open daily from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
